His work focuses on international agricultural markets, export promotion, and program implementation, with hands-on experience supporting U.S. agricultural stakeholders across Latin America, Africa, and Asia. He brings a practical, field-informed perspective to market analysis and program evaluation, informed by direct engagement with industry organizations, government partners, and international stakeholders.

Mr. Poole previously served with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service, where he administered Market Access Program (MAP) and Regional Agricultural Promotion Program (RAPP) funding supporting U.S. horticultural exports and managed multi-million-dollar interagency agreements funded by USDA, the U.S. Department of State, USAID, and the World Bank. His responsibilities included trade data analysis, program monitoring and evaluation, compliance review, and preparation of briefing materials for senior officials. He also coordinated international technical assistance activities and trade-related engagements in close collaboration with U.S. embassies and foreign partners.

In addition to his public-sector experience, Mr. Poole has held private-sector and independent consulting roles with agribusiness, agricultural technology, and international organizations. His experience includes work with OvaInnovations (now VEOS Group), PrecisionHawk, EIWA, Inc., and IBM, as well as freelance and short-term consulting engagements supporting organizations such as the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), universities, and international development partners. He is skilled at supporting international market assessments, stakeholder interviews, and program evaluations, bringing a cross-sector perspective that strengthens the firm’s ability to deliver analytically rigorous work grounded in real-world commercial and implementation contexts.
